What happens when we start college, and which is the biggest challenge?

When we arrive in a new city, or a new house,  we are exposed to new environments, academic levels, and people. We may feel so overwhelmed that we forget to monitor how we are feeling. The semester starts and it is a whirlwind of activities. Then, suddenly, we have finished the University!

Sometimes we think that everything "is fine" just because other people don’t show or share their emotions, so do not pressure yourself to go at the pace of anybody else or believe that everything must be perfect. Be patient with yourself and acknowledge your feelings; pay attention to your mood swings and thoughts.

Starting the university can be a wonderful and exciting experience, but it can also bring its own unique challenges. It's natural to feel nervous or overwhelmed during the first few weeks at the university, and it can be a while before you feel like you've found your feet. Remember that everyone processes things at a different pace.

Make the best of this chapter in your life by remembering to focus only on the present, do not dwell on the past.
