Leticia has experience teaching academic writing and language classes in both English and Spanish. She has taught at various universities including el Tec de Monterrey, Universidad Iberoamericana, Universidad de las Américas, Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla and Juniata College in Pennsylvania.  

 

She has been a speaker in national and international conferences in the United States, the Netherlands, Ireland, France, Argentina, Brazil, and Puerto Rico. Leticia has published articles and a book chapter related to academic writing, intercultural competence, and studies of the literacy needs of returnee students in Mexican universities. She enjoys watching movies, talking to friends, and traveling.
