Skylar Staib joined Arkansas State University – CQ in 2021 as an instructor of costing accounting and managerial accounting. Prior to joining ASUCQ, she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in finance in 2018 from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She went on to get a Master of Business Administration from Arkansas State University, graduating in the top of her class in August 2020. 

During her time in school, Skylar tutored business and general education courses at Arkansas State for three and a half years. In 2017, she was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma and in 2019 she was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi, two of the most prestigious academic honor societies in the United States. 

Skylar was born in Tampa, Florida, raised in Colorado, and now lives in Arkansas. She enjoys playing her flute of 13 years, exercising, playing with her cat, and learning about commercial real estate finance. She is an avid NFL football fan, her favorite teams being the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
