Prior to joining the STEM faculty at Arkansas State University—CQ, Adriana was working in the biotechnology industry doing recombinant vaccines, she also has been teaching cell biology and biophysics at other Universities. During her doctorate and postdoctoral stay Adriana worked elucidating the molecular mechanisms of synaptic transmission and glial cells communication.
She has published 6 papers in a peer review Journals and presented her research work in a couple of international conferences.
Adriana spends her free time with her family and doing sports. She is a pole fitness instructor, and she is very passionate about empowering other people to practice this discipline.
