A full-time professor of Composition at ASUCQ, Alan is also a translator, writer, and poet. He publishes regularly in the international translation journal Asymptote and is currently working on a poetry collection. 

He spends his weekends wandering about downtown Querétaro, finding new places to eat. He also likes cooking. His most recent recipe is white-wine salmon risotto
