The focus of both Diana Gilpin’s undergraduate and graduate work has been Modern Art and Multicultural studies. Teaching art history is a full circle moment for Gilpin, she fell in love with art and history sitting in a Fine Visual Arts class and felt inspired. Now by teaching Fine Visual Art she hopes to inspire students to love art as much as she does.

On a personal note, she lives in Texarkana, Arkansas. Some of her hobbies include reading crime novels, hiking, traveling the world, going to museums and theater.
