Prior to joining the Chemistry faculty at Arkansas State University—CD, Paola bounced around the United States, working at several Food and Beverages Companies in Oregon, and Chicago. In addition, she has been part of the research team at the Food Science and Technology department in the Oregon State University between 2018 and 2019 and Paola has been teaching around Mexico, at various schools, in Queretaro. 

 

She has a thesis of Master Degree titled Characterization of flavor in young, aged and extra-aged mezcal produced by Angustifolia haw”, which gave her the title of Master Degree in Advance Technology in 2019. In addition, she has several certifications in Food science, Flavor science, and Analytical Instrumentation.  

 

She has a special interest for travel around the world and knows different cultures.
