Professor Kate Bond graduated with a master’s degree in Intercultural and International Communication from American University with a concentration in public diplomacy and Latin America. She has experience both academically and professionally in topics including media writing, social media, strategic communication and public relations.

Before arriving at Arkansas State University- Querétaro, Bond was a fellow of the Fulbright Binational Business Program in Mexico City, where she worked with an international company and took MBA classes at ITAM. She wrote her grant research proposal on the intersection of international studies and international law as it pertained to the NAFTA renegotiation.

Bond was a student-athlete at American University and still maintains her passion for basketball. She also enjoys traveling, dancing and reading about international affairs and feminism.
